Dzogchen Retreat   28 July - 30 July 2017

Hofburg Vienna / Austria

We’re happy to announce that on July 28th, 2017, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu will give a Dzogchen Retreat at Vienna’s Hofburg Palace.  Chögyal Namkhai Norbu is the foremost master of the Dzogchen teachings alive today.

Dzogchen is a form of Tibetan Buddhism, but it is not restricted to a single Tibetan school. Rather, it is a path that reaches across lineages, based in practical meditation within daily life. In this way, Dzogchen is not limited to any special cutural or historical context.
Chögyal Namkhai Norbu first taught in Austria in 1977, and so this year’s event will also mark the 40th anniversary of the Dzogchen Community in Austria.

“DZOGCHEN“ MEANS “GREAT PERFECTION”

...the intrinsic nature of all beings, their original state, free of limitations or learned behaviors. The Dzogchen tradition has been passed down over centuries, in an unbroken lineage from teacher to student, to this day.
